As we enter the festive season, it's time to share our exciting Christmas Update. This year has been phenomenal for Yate Hockey Club, and we're eager to share our progress, achievements, and the festive spirit with our amazing community.
What's Inside?
Team Updates: Our Ladies and Men’s teams have shown remarkable resilience and spirit, achieving significant milestones. From the Ladies' Development Team aiding transitions in hockey, to the Men's 1st team's success in the summer league and indoor tournaments, every team has a unique story of growth and camaraderie.
Junior Achievements: Our junior teams, from the U10s to the U16s, have demonstrated impressive skills and development. Their participation in various tournaments and leagues is a testament to their hard work and dedication.
Community Engagement: This season was not just about sports. We've supported "Blind Veterans UK" through fundraising and teamed up with notable sponsors. Our food bank appeal in December showcased our commitment to the community, collecting over 100 bags of food for local families.
Looking Forward: As we celebrate our successes, we also look ahead to an even more exciting 2024. With new kits and continuous support from our coaches and committee, we're poised for greater achievements.
